BHWA to Convert to Public Water Authority

Brunner Hill Water Association is pleased to announce that the majority (54%) of membership voted in favor to convert to a Public Water Authority! We have submitted documents for conversion to the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission. A special meeting of the members was held on January 3, 2026, to discuss the possible conversion, after which ballots were due to the water office by March 17, 2026. Final votes, of 517 members, were 283 voted “YES” and eight (8) voted “NO”. Two (2) ballots abstaining from the vote were also submitted.
